Agnes Timar-Balazsy

Agnes Timar-Balazsy who died in 2001 contributed so much to the conservation profession. Dinah Eastop (at the ICOM-CC conference in Rio in 2002) told delegates 'of her unwavering vision, enthusiasm and the sheer quantity of hard work through which she achieved so much for the conservation profession'. She ran training courses in textile conservation all over the world - a whole generation of textile conservators was touched by Agnes.
