David Pinniger is an entomologist and international pest management consultant. In 2008 he received the M.B.E award from the Queen at Windsor Castle...for services to pest control and to museum conservation... and in the same year was also awarded the Plowden Medal .....he has revolutionised the approach to pest management in museums, historic houses, libraries and archives, providing a lasting legacy to the conservation profession. He has taught courses in all parts of the world and advises many museums, galleries and historic houses on their integrated pest management strategies.
