Titles with Emilia Kingham
Emilia Kingham obtained an MA and MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums from University College London. For her dissertation, she carried out research in western Oklahoma, USA, which included consultations with members of the Southern Cheyenne tribe. She has additionally worked with NgÄ쳌ti RÄ쳌nana, the London Maori group, and has completed research on the use of the handheld- XRF for the testing of pesticides on the North American collection at the Horniman Museum. Emilia worked as the Junior Clothworkers Fellow at the British Museum focusing on protein based materials. There she was able to work on objects from the Arctic to the North American Plains. She also gained experience in preventive conservation, particularly hazards in collections, while working at the Science Museum as a Collections Care Conservator. Emilia now works as a Conservator at UCL where she focuses on the life sciences collections, specifically the Pathology Collection and the Grant Museum of Zoology.
